Balor Kassi is a beautiful lake located at a distance of two days journey from Taobat. This is the biggest lake in the Gurez valley. Situated on the border of Neelum and Astore valley, the lake is located between the mountains. One can see the lake from Taobat. Similarly, with further training, one can also reach Chichiri village towards Astore valley. Neighbouring Riyat Lake is located next to Balor Kassi. Both lakes can only be accessed with a trained guide. A must visit track having lush green pastures, waterfalls and wild strawberries.
